An anonymous salary-transparency product designed around the markets and currencies that broad global compensation datasets often fail to represent well.
## The problem worth solving
Useful compensation data is unevenly distributed. In many emerging and developing markets, professionals negotiate with sparse local evidence while global benchmarks flatten meaningful differences between cities, disciplines, levels and currencies.
## What I built
OpenPay.fyi lets people contribute compensation information without publishing their identity, then explore the combined dataset by country, city, professional track, seniority and company. The experience is built for useful comparison rather than a static list of submissions.
Interactive charts, multi-currency views and mobile-first filters make the data understandable across MENA, South Asia, Southeast Asia and other underrepresented markets. New contributions update the shared view without turning individual respondents into public profiles.

## Why the design matters
Salary transparency only helps when people trust the contribution flow and can interpret the result in their own market. OpenPay combines careful data collection with an interface built to reveal context, not manufacture a false universal benchmark.

Ciprian created OpenPay.fyi and owns its product direction, user experience, data model and full-stack implementation as an independent product.
